Dr. Valerie Bouhom, DDS
Dr. Bouhom practices general dentistry and she is from France. She earned her first dental degree and her pediatric dental certificate from Victor Segalen University of Dental Surgery in Bordeaux, France. Dr. Bouhom received her second dental degree from Tuft University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
Dr. Bouhom received multiple awards from Tufts dental school, including the Peter Vouras award for exceptional skills and excellence in General Dentistry and the Honos Civicus award recognizing her for demonstrating an exceptional commitment to community service and civic engagement during her studies at TUSDM. She deeply believes that service and civic engagement play a significant part in making positive changes to people’s lives within their communities. This is the reason she aspired to become a commissioned officer in the US Army.
Dr. Bouhom is a member of the CT State Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Bouhom lives in Newtown and likes to spend time with her husband and her three beautiful girls. She enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming, and boxing.
Dr. Bouhom is fluent in English and French.
